D&G Area Hill Running Championship

In line with Hartfell Hill Running Club's aim of promoting hill running in Dumfries and Galloway, we are assisting in administrating and promoting the Dumfries and Galloway Area Hill Running Championship which has been run for a number of years by one of our club members.

This Championship is open to everyone irrespective of which club they belong to or if they are unattached. This is separate to HHRC club championships which are for members only.

Trophies will be awarded for 1st place male and female in the following classes, Senior, V40 and V50. Recognition of winners in the V60, V70 and V80 Classes.  

The criteria for 2022 is that the best four results from the following 6 D&G Hill races will count in the championship.

Criffel Hill Race - Date TBC

Durisdeer Hill Race - Saturday 2nd July 2022

Merrick Hill Race - Sunday 11th September 2022
